So you think you know Hmong?

I know. It's all my fault that Chloe knows so little Hmong. She's been at her grandma's all summer - the only reason she knows any at all. This will not happen to our next child. Truth is, we don't speak Hmong much at home - so we have no one to blame but ourselves. 

Chloe really thinks she knows how to speak Hmong. All she really knows is: "I need to go pee" "I need to go poop" and "Yes". Most of her little cousins love those little Hmong girls music videos that they sell at the flea market. Chloe loves watching them too and always wonders why she doesn't know what the heck they are saying. 

Here is her attempt at one of those songs. See if you can figure out what she's saying - I certainly have no idea. Chloe, on the other hand - knows exactly what she's saying. "Daddy, I speaking Spanish...." What a wonderful little girl. I had no idea she spoke Spanish too. :)
