Fiction or Non-Fiction

Chloe's learning about fiction and non-ficition. Her definition of the two terms-

Fiction: "a made up story in a book and it's not real."

Non-fiction: "a real story or thing"

Last week, we had a session on fiction and non-fiction, where Chloe was to determine which of the two categories that certain people, things or stories are to fall under and why.

Me: Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Chloe: Fiction, they only live in a book

Me: Spiders

Chloe: Non-fiction, they're real bugs.

Me: Spider-man

Chloe: Fiction, he's only in a movie.

Me: Cinderella

Chloe: Non-fiction, she lives in Disney World and I already went to visit her.
