She felt Logan move on several occasions before, although the experiences haven't flinch her much, but last night Chloe finally showed interest in feeling the movement of the baby.
I really miss Chloe sleeping with me, so when she crawled into our bed at 4:30am this morning, I didn't bother to send her back to her own bed. While Doua slept soundly, Chloe and I just layed in bed and smiled at eachother, enjoying the quiet calm night rarely delivered to us from living on top of a bar. Logan must've sensed our silent joy and joined in with a few kicks and waves. It was a such a beautiful and real moment lying there quietly with my two children. I took Chloe's hand and placed in on top of my belly and as Logan offered up a few hard kicks and rolls, surprised Chloe started giggling and stated, "Mommy, he's saying 'ooh la la'!" I just laughed and replied, "Yes, he is, darling." Chloe then turned back over and after a tiny yawn, she closed her eyes and whispered, "I'm still tired because it's not morning yet." "Then you should go to back to sleep," I said. "Ok, see you in the morning and remember -- don't let the bex bux bite," she said before she wondered back into dreamland. I just smiled again and nodded my head silently at her. These little offerings of joy that our children bring to us -- I don't want them ever to end.
